A special 7 Day, 6 Nights Programme
Here is one of the programme offered by Mkuu but if it does not
perfectly suits you adjustments can be made
Day 1:
You are welcomed and received by our guides at the harbour or airport, then transfer you
to the hotel of your choice. You may review the itinerary on the first day of your arrival
and make changes is so required
Day 2:You
can either combine or choose between the Slave Trade Route Tour or Princess Salme Tour.
Note that if both are chosen they are conducted in the morning and afternoon respectively.
Day 3:
The whole day id spent for the Cultural Programme visiting women’s groups of your
choice from among mat making, sea weed farming, hunting, horticulture farming. If you
prefer you can stay in basic guest house run by the group.
Day 4:
This is the day for Traditional Herbalistic Tour visiting spices, ornamental plants,
medicinal herbs, fruits of Zanzibar etc. Lunch prepared in a traditional style and local
refreshment are arranged at the country side. The experience obtained from this tour is
related to the type of food, refreshment and traditional cosmetics use by town and country
residents
Day 5:
The whole day is devoted to Zanzibar Aquatic and Terrestrial Adventure. It is advisable to
choose one option although there is a possibility of combining the two excursions. Check
that these tours require special wear and precautions
Day 6: Of
course after long languid week with active participation you need relaxation. Choices are
available from either the East Coast, North East or extreme North to Nungwi. This day can
also be combined with shopping if preferred
Day 7:
Mkuu Tours and Travel guides meet you at the hotel and transfer you to point of exit for
your returning journey. It is possible too, after this programme to proceed to the safaris
to the world'’ richest wildlife area of East Africa, mainly in Serengeti, Ngorongoro,
Selous, Arusha, Manyara, Kilimanjaro etc.
